We have created and implemented, in collaboration with the Felice Chirò Foundation, the first blockchain applied to the production chain of peeled tomatoes. This initiative takes the name of “PELATO IN RETE”.

This blockchain allows you to record and track the production and transformation process of peeled tomatoes step by step. In this way, the blockchain:

• allows the acquisition of thousands of correctly managed data, which thus become part of the positive assets of companies;
• offers an advantage to the final consumer, who will be able to verify the information related to the product chain, from the origin to the point of sale, passing through the various processes.
